Instead of updating the previous model with new cosmetics the new Wilson BLX Coral Reef completely revamps the design in opting to go for a more forgiving powerful option Still featuring the BLX technology which improves feel by dampening unwanted vibration through the integration of natural Basalt fibers within the graphite matrix this frame features a larger 110 sq in headsize compared to the previous model While the weight did not change noticeably the balance has been shifted slightly more towards the head which will help with any potential stability concerns as a larger percentage of the racquets weight is closer to the hitting area The BLX Corel Reef also receives an upgrade to the comfort and power aspects through the use of the Articulated Grommet Technology AGT which allows a much larger degree of movement in the stringbed This increased ball pocketing helps to increase the sweetspot size as well as offer greater repulsion for added power All of this means a complete upgrade to the previous Coral Wave model offering a powerful and forgiving sweetspot with enhanced feel Recommended for players with medium length swings looking to add power and comfort to their game
